Tennis
Tennis has shaped where I study, how I organize my days and the way I respond to a difficult result.

I developed as a player at TCBB in Boulogne-Billancourt, then moved to the United States to combine university studies with tennis. I played my first collegiate year at Lawrence Technological University before joining Loyola University New Orleans in 2026.
Playing a college match means representing more than yourself. Practice, travel, doubles and team results give a different dimension to a sport I had known primarily through individual competition.

Life as a student-athlete
The experience is also the organization around the competition: showing up for practice, managing coursework, traveling with a team and making room for recovery. Those are recurring commitments, not isolated moments of motivation.
I am interested in the mental side of development: confidence when the level rises, expectations after a good result, and how to keep working after a difficult one. Those questions also appear in my writing.
Rafael Nadal is my favorite athlete. I am drawn to the effort and persistence associated with his approach to competition. Reading about athletes and their experiences is another way I stay connected to that side of sport.
