The original idea
I designed a newsletter to generate structured briefings on international news across several sectors. AI tools and Python scripts helped automate information sourcing, analysis and newsletter generation. It gave me a concrete use case for learning how separate steps could become one repeatable process.
From information to a readable briefing
The work involved more than collecting links. Information needed to be selected, organized and turned into something that could be read as a coherent briefing. This made the relationship between the source material and the final explanation an important part of the project.
Why it remains part of the story
This was one of my first serious digital projects. It helped move my interest in AI and coding from individual exercises toward an output someone could read. It also made the limits of automation more visible: generating text is only one part of producing useful information consistently.
The connection to PersoNewsAP
The early newsletter raised questions that later became central to PersoNewsAP: how to make the content relevant, how to explain rather than simply summarize, and how to create a habit readers might return to. The later app expanded the format into a broader learning experience, while the newsletter remains an important starting point.
